The Story behind our all-time favorite brand, RICE.
The Danish brand RICE was founded in 1998 by Charlotte and Philippe Guéniau. At first the brand mainly sold the still popular Rafia storage baskets in Copenhagen, which was a great success. The RICE range was soon expanded to include the famous melamine mugs and other tableware products and home accessories. Today, RICE also sells its popular melamine products outside of Denmark. RICE’s colourful products are now available in around 45 countries around the world.
